Singapore MRT reliability tops 2.5 million km for 3rd month

What's new: The network has gone eight months without a delay longer than 30 minutes, the longest streak since tracking began in 2011.

Singapore's MRT network recorded a Mean Kilometres Between Failure of 2.5 million train-km in June, marking the third straight month above 2 million and staying well above the Land Transport Authority's 1 million target. LTA said there were no delays longer than 30 minutes across the five mature MRT lines and LRT network in June, extending that streak to eight months since November 2025, the longest since the measure began in 2011. The North-South Line improved to 1.98 million train-km from 1.65 million in May, while the Circle Line rose to 2.4 million. The North East Line remained the most reliable at 4.46 million train-km.
