Singapore man jailed 11 weeks for filming 4 women up skirts
What's new: Police found older voyeuristic images and 165 obscene videos on his phone after his arrest at VivoCity.
A Singapore court sentenced Pua Thiam Guan, 57, to 11 weeks in jail after he admitted filming upskirt videos of four women while shopping with his wife at VivoCity on Feb. 20, 2024. He pleaded guilty on June 9 to four voyeurism charges. Prosecutors said he first recorded a woman inside a Watsons store, then filmed three more victims in the crowded Golden Village lobby. One woman caught him, grabbed his phone and, with a friend, held him until police arrived. Investigators later found voyeuristic images of other women taken on seven occasions in January and February 2022, as well as 165 downloaded obscene videos on his phone.
