Singapore Grand Prix drew 301,294 as Verstappen took first win

What's new: Organizers said the sold-out crowd was the race's second-highest ever, just 706 short of the 2022 record.

The 2026 Singapore Grand Prix drew 301,294 fans over its three-day run at Marina Bay, giving the Formula 1 night race its second-highest attendance on record even as haze pushed air quality into the unhealthy range. Max Verstappen capped the weekend by taking his first Singapore Grand Prix victory for Red Bull Racing after also winning the sprint and securing pole position. Charles Leclerc finished second and Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli was third. Organizers said the Oct. 9-11 event was sold out and marked the first time Singapore hosted an F1 Sprint. Attendance topped 300,000 for a second straight year and trailed the 2022 record of 302,000 by 706.
