Singapore father fined S$5,000 after sons rode on moving Porsche

What's new: The court also barred him from driving for six months after citing more than 15 past traffic violations.

A Singapore court fined Prem Anan Sugunakumar S$5,000 and banned him from driving for six months after he drove a Porsche with his two young sons sitting on the boot. The 40-year-old pleaded guilty to a rash act endangering personal safety involving children under 14. The incident happened on Oct. 20, 2025, along Dairy Farm Lane in Bukit Panjang, where the boys, then 7 and 8, sat facing backward as the car moved at a moderate speed. His wife filmed the stunt and the video was later posted on TikTok. Another motorist reported it to police the same day. Judge Kessler Soh cited Prem's driving record, which included more than 15 traffic violations between 2004 and 2020.
