Singapore couple arrested after drugs found near 2 young sons

A Singaporean couple in their 20s were arrested after narcotics officers found drugs and paraphernalia in a Marsiling flat where their two young sons were present. The Central Narcotics Bureau said a 25-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were detained after a raid in the vicinity of Marsiling Lane in the early hours of Aug. 11. Officers seized a small amount of cannabis, methamphetamine, also known as Ice, and ecstasy from several parts of the unit, including the master bedroom, where the children, ages 3 and 7 months, were found. The boys were placed in the care of next of kin. Investigations into suspected drug-related offenses, including exposing children to drugs, are ongoing.
