Singapore arrests 56-year-old after marble shatters Woodlands flat window

What's next: He is due in court Monday on a rash act charge that carries up to six months in jail or a S$2,500 fine.

Singapore police arrested a 56-year-old man after investigators linked him to a marble fired from a catapult that damaged a bedroom window at a flat on Woodlands Ring Road. Police were first alerted Tuesday to the damaged window at Block 664. After ground inquiries, officers identified and arrested the man on Saturday and seized a catapult along with marbles and pebbles. Investigators said he had been shooting marbles at a flock of birds in the area when one projectile is believed to have struck the residential unit. He is set to be charged in court Monday with committing a rash act.
