Shopee launches 1-hour instant shopping for daily needs
The service covers fresh food, frozen meals and over-the-counter medicine, with a voucher guarantee if delivery runs late.
Shopee launched Shopee Belanja Instant 1 Jam Tiba in Indonesia to deliver daily essentials in about one hour. The service is aimed at users who want to shop faster amid increasingly busy routines. According to Director of Business Partnership Shopee Indonesia Daniel Minardi, available items include eggs, fruit, vegetables, milk, frozen food, over-the-counter medicine, and household supplies. Shopee is also offering discounts of up to 50 percent and a free voucher guarantee if orders exceed the estimated delivery time. At the launch in Jakarta, Shopee held a discussion featuring SIVIA, Agatha Pricilla, and Ify Alyssa. Users can access the service by selecting the Instant filter, choosing products marked with the green Instant label, then picking Instant Prioritas delivery at checkout.
