Iran claims it destroyed U.S. radar, HIMARS launchers in Kuwait

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it hit U.S. military facilities in Kuwait in the latest wave of retaliatory attacks. In a statement, the IRGC said Iranian missiles and drones struck the KJL logistics center in Mina Abdullah, satellite communications systems, air defense radar, the Patriot area, and HIMARS launchers and their missile depot. In a separate report cited by AFP and Al Jazeera, the IRGC also said it attacked U.S. facilities in Juffair, Bahrain, and destroyed long-range air radar and ship-detection radar in Oman. It said the attacks were retaliation for U.S. military operations against Iran. The IRGC said it does not consider the people of Kuwait an enemy, but that operations will continue and the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until U.S. aggression ends.
