The Shell brand will remain visible under a licensing deal, while the transaction still awaits regulatory approval this year.

SEFAS Group has agreed to acquire 100% of Shell's fuel station business in Indonesia. The transaction is still awaiting regulatory approval and other customary conditions, with completion targeted for 2026. SEFAS Group CEO Ricky Roesli said the company will proceed with the full takeover while keeping the operational transition safe and reliable. Customers will continue to see the Shell brand in Indonesia through a brand licensing arrangement. Shell Indonesia President Director Andri Pratiwa said SEFAS has long been a Shell partner in Indonesia and understands the local market, customer needs and existing distribution network. SEFAS is also known as Shell's largest lubricants distributor in Indonesia.
