Organizers plan three cohorts in 2027 and a Seed Program for investment development and virtual internships for final-year students.
Saraswati Fellowship graduated 30 participants in its second cohort after completing a three-month leadership mentoring program. The graduation was marked at Graduation Batch II at the National Museum, Jakarta, on Saturday (7/11). The program under Shandri Foundation, initiated by Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, drew 473 applicants for the second cohort, and total interest since the first cohort has approached 1.000 people. Batch II featured 11 mentors from eight sectors. One mentor, Retno Marsudi, said efforts to strengthen women’s capacity must be accompanied by system changes so more women can enter decision-making positions. Shandri Foundation chair Andika Prasetya said the foundation is targeting three cohorts in 2027 and will launch a Seed Program for investment development and virtual internships for final-year students.
