Rubio acknowledges Ukraine interceptors may have been held up

What's new: Zelensky said he also discussed early warning for Russian attacks and restoring Starlink and Starshield services.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Oct. 20 that a batch of interceptors bought for Ukraine through the Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List may not have reached Kyiv, while insisting the delay was not driven by a political order. Speaking in Mumbai at the start of a trip to India, Rubio said he had a 45-minute call with President Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky said the discussion covered ballistic missile interceptors, early warning of Russian attacks, and the need to restore Starlink and Starshield satellite services. The comments followed earlier reporting that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had not yet authorized the latest PURL weapons package funded by NATO allies.
