Roy Suryo files fourth pretrial challenge over travel ban

Roy Suryo has again filed a pretrial challenge at the Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan, this time contesting the ban on foreign travel in the case against him tied to allegations of Joko Widodo's fake diploma. His lawyer, Abdul Gafur Sangaji, said the first hearing is scheduled for Friday. The petition was registered under number 129/Pid.Pra/2026/PN JKT.SEL. This is the fourth pretrial filing brought by Roy. Previously, he challenged the handling of the same case three times. In the second pretrial case over his suspect status, the judge rejected his petition. But in the first pretrial case involving the search, arrest and detention, the judge granted Roy's challenge. Polda Metro Jaya said it is ready to face the hearing once it receives an official court summons.
