Ronaldinho, 46, officially returns to play for Ravenna in Serie C

Ronaldinho has officially begun a comeback in professional football with Ravenna, the Italian Serie C club, 11 years after his last official match in 2015 with Fluminense. The former Ballon d'Or winner from Brazil arrived at Forlì airport from Milan Linate on Thursday (20/8), then underwent a medical exam before being introduced as Ravenna's new player.
At the club's new-season presentation, Ronaldinho walked onto the stage wearing jersey No. 10 before about 6,000 fans. Ravenna president Ignazio Cipriani had earlier said Ronaldinho will also be a partner in the club, in addition to joining the team project on the field. Ronaldinho, the former Barcelona and AC Milan player, told media he wants to help, encourage his teammates and have a good season, while leaving open the possibility of scoring again.
