Roger-Cut and Dara Arafah questioned in Hanania umrah case

Polda Metro Jaya questioned Roger Danuarta, Cut Meyriska and Dara Arafah as witnesses in the alleged fraud and embezzlement case involving umrah travel funds at PT Khazanah Tamma Internasional, or Hanania Group. Roger and Cut were questioned on Friday, 12 June, while Dara was questioned on 13 June 2026. Cut said their 2024 collaboration took the form of a photo-and-video barter, though some payments were also made and documented by transfers and contracts. Roger said they checked pilgrim testimonials before accepting the offer. Dara, through her attorney, said she initially trusted the travel company because it had an umrah permit and positive testimonials. Police had earlier named Hanania Group president director Ahmad Syah Farhan a suspect and detained him. In a preliminary investigation, deposits from prospective pilgrims were allegedly used for needs outside the departure process, including promotion through influencers.
