Rays force World Series Game 5 with 4-3 walk-off win in 12 innings
What's next: Milwaukee sends Jacob Misiorowski in Game 5 as Tampa Bay tries to become the first team down 3-0 in a World Series to force a sixth game.
The Tampa Bay Rays kept their season alive Tuesday night, beating the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in 12 innings in Game 4 of the World Series at Tropicana Field. Tampa Bay trailed after Cooper Pratt's go-ahead homer in the top of the 12th, but erased the deficit in the bottom half after Joey Ortiz's throwing error opened the door. Liam Hicks and Jonny DeLuca delivered run-scoring singles, and pinch-hitter Ben Williamson ended it with a bases-loaded RBI single. The win cut Milwaukee's series lead to 3-1 and denied the Brewers a sweep and their first title. Pratt finished with four hits for Milwaukee. Game 5 is set for Wednesday night in St. Petersburg, with Brewers right-hander Jacob Misiorowski lined up to start.
