Super Elja still have three to four weeks before their opener against Bali United on September 4.
PSS Sleman has increased training intensity to sharpen tactics ahead of the 2026/2027 season. Coach Pieter Huistra wants the players to better understand the playing philosophy he intends to apply on the field. He said work ethic and a willingness to improve are important assets in building the team’s identity.
According to Huistra, PSS still have about three to four weeks to maximize preparations. He wants Super Elja to play dominantly, with high intensity in every phase of the game, from running and pressing opponents to moving without the ball and maintaining energy until the final whistle.
In the 2026/2027 season, PSS will compete in the BRI Super League and I.League Cup. Their first Super League match is scheduled for 4 September 2026 at 19.00 WIB when PSS visit Bali United at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Gianyar, Bali.
