Pramono accelerates repairs to Kebayoran Lama state school
Jakarta opens options beyond the APBD, including CSR, while saying 22 other schools also need repairs.
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has ordered repairs to SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 09 Pagi in South Jakarta to be expedited after learning that part of the school building has been collapsed since 2024. He acknowledged he only learned of the condition when asked by reporters and immediately held a meeting with Jakarta provincial officials. Because there is no APBD allocation yet for the school, Jakarta is preparing alternative financing schemes, including CSR and KLB, so construction can begin soon. Deputy Governor Rano Karno is scheduled to gather the Jakarta Education Agency to discuss schools that need assistance. Previously, about 270 students were moved to SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 11 and are studying in two shifts for safety reasons.
