Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo offered Singapore investment opportunities in MRT Jakarta Phase 3 and Phase 4, as well as transit-oriented development (TOD), during a meeting with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at the Singapore Prime Minister's Office. In an official statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday, Pramono urged stronger Singapore investment in transportation and urban renewal as part of efforts to bring Jakarta closer to a global city. He also promised a more accessible, transparent, efficient and consistent investment climate. According to Pramono, policy certainty is important to build investor confidence and bridge national policy with implementation at the local level.
