Prabowo urges TNI, Polri and prosecutors to reflect in Lombok
The remarks came as Polri, TNI and the Attorney General's Office faced scrutiny after searches tied to the alleged tailing of Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah.
President Prabowo Subianto called on bureaucrats and officials from TNI, Polri and the Attorney General's Office to reflect on their roles while inaugurating a dam in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. He stressed that officers' ranks and facilities come from the public. "Your stars come from the people. Your shoes come from the people. Your hats come from the people," Prabowo said, reminding officers not to forget their responsibility to the public.
The message came as the three institutions drew scrutiny. Tempo reported that investigators from Kortastipidkor Polri and Polda Metro Jaya searched Cafe de'Clan Signature in Cipete, South Jakarta, which was said to be linked to the alleged surveillance of the Attorney General's Office's Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah. Antara also reported that the Attorney General received Febrie's resignation from the Jampidsus post.
