Prabowo set to deliver 2 speeches to MPR-DPR on Aug. 14

President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to deliver two speeches at the Parliamentary Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday (14/8). The first agenda is the State Address and Report on the Performance of State Institutions in the Annual Session of the MPR RI and Joint Session of the DPR RI and DPD RI at 08.30 WIB. The second is the government’s introductory speech for the submission of the Draft Law on the 2027 State Budget, along with the Financial Note, at a DPR RI plenary meeting. CNN Indonesia reported that Prabowo had arrived at the DPR building in the morning and was greeted by MPR Speaker Ahmad Muzani, DPD Speaker Sultan Najamuddin, and DPR leaders. This year’s session schedule was moved up from the usual 16 August to 14 August to fit the workday calendar.
