Prabowo scheduled to visit Russia on June 17, agenda still being set
The government has yet to receive a final itinerary from the secretariat, leaving the timing and details of the visit open to change.
President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to attend an event in Russia on June 17, but the timing and program are still being finalized. Deputy Foreign Minister Arif Havas Oegroseno said the Indonesian government is still waiting for the official agenda from the secretariat, while coordination between the two sides continues. He said schedule changes in international diplomacy are normal. Havas said the event is tied to the ASEAN summit with Russia in Kazan. In April, Prabowo visited Moscow and met Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin. The Cabinet Secretariat said at the time that they discussed cooperation on energy and mineral resources, education, research and technology, agriculture, and industrial investment in Indonesia.
