Prabowo scheduled to attend PENAS XVII climax in Gorontalo
Organizers expect 50,000-60,000 participants, with 12 governors and eight ministers already confirmed.
President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to attend the closing event of the 17th National Farmers and Fishermen Week in Gorontalo on Wednesday (24/6), around 10:00 a.m. WITA. According to organizers, the event is centered at the GOR David-Tony area in Kabupaten Gorontalo, while the Presidential Secretariat said the venue is the Sport Center Limboto. Prabowo departed from Pangkalan TNI AU Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta, around 06:00 a.m. WIB with State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. Organizers estimate 50,000 to 60,000 participants and guests will attend. About 12 governors and eight ministers have also confirmed their presence. Ahead of the visit by the head of state, joint security forces held a VVIP RI-1 security briefing involving about 2,300 personnel.
