Prabowo adds Danantara to KSSK after Perry Warjiyo steps down
Danantara will join routine KSSK meetings and take part in each decision, broadening coordination beyond fiscal and monetary policy.
President Prabowo Subianto directed the Financial System Stability Committee, or KSSK, to involve the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency, or Danantara, in discussions and economic policy decisions. The instruction was delivered at a meeting at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Monday, following the resignation of Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo. Acting Bank Indonesia Governor Destry Damayanti said the format would become “KSSK plus,” with Danantara helping strengthen coordination among institutions. Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani said the agency would be included in every decision-making process so policy would be viewed not only from fiscal and monetary angles, but also for its impact on business and the wider economy. The government had earlier appointed Destry as acting Bank Indonesia governor while it prepared the process to fill the permanent post.
