Prabowo to inaugurate about 1,500 TNI-Polri officer cadets at Istana
The Prasetya Perwira ceremony is set for 08.00 WIB at Istana Merdeka, and the final number of graduates may still change.
President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to inaugurate TNI and Polri officer candidates in the Prasetya Perwira ceremony at Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, on Wednesday morning. State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi said the ceremony will begin at 08.00 WIB. The number of officers to be commissioned is estimated at about 1,500, although the final figure is still being checked because the number of students or cadets has changed. Last year, Prabowo also led a similar ceremony at the same location and commissioned 2,000 junior officers from Akademi Militer, Akademi Angkatan Laut, Akademi Angkatan Udara, and Akademi Kepolisian. In the 2025 ceremony, the President also pinned rank insignia on Adhi Makayasa recipients.
