Prabowo gathers ministers, SOE chiefs to discuss Kopdes Merah Putih
The Palace meeting focused on subsidy distribution through village cooperatives, plus possible financing schemes and loan interest rates.
President Prabowo Subianto gathered several ministers and SOE chief executives at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Wednesday (15/7) to discuss Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih. Village and Disadvantaged Regions Development Minister Yandri Susanto said his ministry would report progress on outreach for the program to village heads and village officials, working with 10 village associations. Cooperatives Minister Ferry Juliantono added that the meeting also discussed subsidized goods to be distributed through Kopdes, as well as possible financing schemes and loan interest rates. Also present were, among others, Zulkifli Hasan, Maman Abdurrahman, Rini Widyantini, Bahlil Lahadalia, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, Darmawan Prasodjo, and Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota.
