Prabowo scheduled to inaugurate Kelapa Gading-Manggarai LRT on Aug. 26
The 12.2-km line with 11 stations is aimed at carrying 80,000 passengers a day and cutting trips to 28 minutes.
President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to inaugurate the LRT Jakarta Kelapa Gading-Manggarai route on Aug. 26, 2026. Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the new line is projected to serve up to 80,000 passengers per day. The 12.2-kilometer route links 11 stations, from Kelapa Gading to Manggarai Station, with a travel time of about 28 minutes. Four stations — Rawamangun, Pramuka, Matraman and Proklamasi — connect with Transjakarta. Manggarai Station will serve as a major hub linked to KRL Commuter Line, KA Bandara and Transjakarta. After the inauguration, the Jakarta provincial government plans to continue building the LRT Jakarta to Dukuh Atas, alongside a pedestrian deck that will connect with MRT, LRT, KRL, the airport train and Transjakarta.
