PPKGBK reopens data desk for former Hotel Sultan workers
New: the desk at Gedung Parkir A, across from Istora GBK, has taken daily reports since June 22 at 11.00 WIB.
Pusat Pengelolaan Komplek Gelora Bung Karno reopened the Blok 15 GBK Service Post on Monday, June 22, at 11.00 WIB to record former Hotel Sultan workers. The desk at Gedung Parkir A, across from Istora GBK, is open daily after management of Blok 15 was returned to the state and the land clearance execution took place on June 18. Blok 15 GBK Transition Team chairman Hendry Arisandi said the data collection will focus on the number of workers, employment status, work history and labor rights. The step was taken because conflicting information remains about the exact number of workers and their employment status. PPKGBK asked permanent workers, contract workers, outsourcing staff and other employment categories to come in person with identification and supporting documents for verification.
