Satgas Operasi Damai Cartenz-2026 has named seven people as suspects in the killing of American pilot Nicholas F. Goselin and the burning of PK-RCY aircraft owned by PT Associated Mission Aviation in Yahukimo, Papua Pegunungan. The seven, identified as MB, AB, LS, DA, NS, KB and SP, are now on the wanted list. Police said the suspect designations followed a crime scene examination, witness interviews, collection of evidence and a case review. At the scene, investigators found a Pilatus PC-6/B2-H4 Turbo Porter aircraft about 90 percent damaged by fire, 5.56 millimeter shell casings and a honai with a sign identifying it as the headquarters of TPNPB Kodap VII Balinggama. The case is charged under laws on murder and offenses that endanger aviation safety, with penalties of up to 20 years in prison.
