Polres Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok uncovered 58 narcotics cases from January-June 2026 and arrested 67 suspects, with seized evidence valued at about Rp37 billion. Polres Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok chief Aris Wibowo said the haul included 3,201.56 grams of meth, 5,529 Etomidate, 55.35 grams of cannabis, 15.2 grams of synthetic marijuana, 25 ecstasy pills, and 1,206 pills of dangerous medicines such as Eximer, Tramadol, Trihexyphenidyl, Calmlet, Merlopam, Alprazolam, and Riklona. The same day, police destroyed 2,062.17 grams of meth and 5,219 Etomidate; some other evidence was set aside for trial. A total of 15 cases have entered the second phase and been handed over to Kejaksaan Negeri Jakarta Utara. The suspects are charged under the Narcotics Law, the Health Law, and the Criminal Penalties Adjustment Law, carrying penalties from five years in prison to life imprisonment or the death penalty.
