Police arrest 2 etomidate dealers at Alexa Suites, North Jakarta
Police are hunting the supplier after seizing 28 etomidate cartridges, sold for as much as Rp5 million each.
North Jakarta Metro Police arrested two etomidate dealers, identified as FIS and WS, at Alexa Suites and Lounge in Penjaringan, North Jakarta, after receiving a report from the venue’s management. Police seized 28 etomidate cartridges in various packages and flavors from the location, with a total gross weight of at least 223.74 grams. The investigation then led to Palm Mansion Tower L apartment in West Jakarta, which was suspected to be used as a storage warehouse. Police said WS acted as the main suspect, while FIS helped sell the product. The two are believed to have distributed etomidate vape products for about three months. Their method was to enter as ordinary visitors, select potential buyers, and also handle orders through WhatsApp and delivery by ojek online. Police are now pursuing the owner and supplier of the goods.
