Police respond after dispute at Florida game for 3-year-old soccer player

Police responded to a youth soccer game in Winter Park, Florida, after a dispute involving the parents of a 3-year-old player whose viral video drew national attention. The boy’s parents argued he was pulled from play because he was too skilled and embarrassing other children. An organizer with i9 Sports told officers the child had been scoring heavily but was also pushing other players, and said the conflict escalated when his parents became disruptive. Winter Park police said the family agreed to leave and that no one was arrested, trespassed or forced out of the park. i9 Sports said it was reviewing the episode and had contacted the family.
