Police arrest one suspect in Cikarang woman’s detention case
Police cite jealousy as a possible motive, while main suspect HSLT remains at large after the victim escaped through a window.
Polres Metro Bekasi has arrested one person in the case of the detention and assault of a woman identified as TS, 25, in Cikarang Selatan, Bekasi Regency, West Java. Another suspect, HSLT, who is believed to be the main perpetrator, is still being hunted. Police said the victim suffered bruises to her face and hands from repeated violence that is suspected to have occurred from 29 June to 8 July 2026. In a preliminary investigation, TS and HSLT had been dating since April 2025 and lived together at a residence in Cikarang Selatan. The victim eventually escaped by climbing out a window while HSLT was away. AKBP Jerico Lavian Chandra, head of criminal investigations at Polres Metro Bekasi, said the preliminary motive was jealousy; HSLT accused the victim of having a relationship with someone else. The person already detained was identified as an employee of HSLT who helped the main suspect.
