Police arrest HSLT, suspect in Cikarang kidnapping, abuse case
HSLT is being questioned intensively at Polres Metro Bekasi as police had earlier arrested one of his employees.
Polda Metro Jaya has arrested HSLT, a man suspected of being the main perpetrator in repeated abuse and unlawful confinement against TS in Cikarang Selatan, Bekasi Regency, West Java. Budi Hermanto, head of public relations for Polda Metro Jaya, said HSLT is now being questioned intensively by investigators from the Satreskrim of Polres Metro Bekasi. Police have not detailed when or where HSLT was arrested, and the case update is scheduled to be presented at a news conference on Monday, 20 July. Based on the victim's report, HSLT allegedly committed repeated violence from 29 June to 8 July 2026, leaving bruises on the face and hands. Police had earlier also arrested one of HSLT's employees, who allegedly helped carry out the assault. Investigators are currently examining jealousy as the preliminary motive.
