Polda Metro summons film maker after Mama Sinta complaint
Police will first question the complainant and verify documents and evidence in a case naming two reported parties, JTW and DDL.
Polda Metro Jaya is still investigating a report filed by Yasinta Moiwend, also known as Mama Sinta, over the documentary film "Pesta Babi: Kolonialisme di Zaman Kita" and will question people involved in its production. Director of General Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Iman Imanuddin, said the inquiry is proceeding through statements from a number of parties considered relevant to the report. Police will also first question Mama Sinta as the complainant to clarify the case and verify documents and evidence. The report was registered at Polda Metro Jaya on 29 Mei 2026. Police said two people were reported, namely JTW, head of LBH Papua Merauke, and DDL. The case under review includes allegations of fraud and illegal collection of personal data.
