Pokemon to sell 30th Celebration booster packs from Sept. 16, 2026
Each pack will include one Pikachu card from 30 illustrators, plus a FUR card featuring artwork by Yoshirotten.
The Pokemon Company will begin selling the 30th anniversary booster pack, "30th Celebration," on Sept. 16, 2026 in various countries. The product is part of the Pokemon Mega Evolution trading card game series and marks three decades since the Pokemon Trading Card Game was first released in 1996. The packs will contain special hologram cards, including a FUR (Futuristic Rare) card with artwork by Japanese graphic designer Yoshirotten. The company is also preparing 30 hologram Pikachu cards created by 30 different illustrators; each pack is guaranteed to contain one Pikachu card from that collection. The Pokemon Company has also included 30 selected cards that trace the series' history, including Charizard from the early series and Pikachu & Zekrom GX from the Sun & Moon series.
