PNM opens learning center for 52 children in Desa Sade, Lombok Tengah
The facility also serves as trauma support for children after a recent fire hit the customary village.
PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) has opened PNM Ruang Pintar in Desa Sade, Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat, for 52 children. The social and environmental responsibility program was prepared as an extra learning space amid the strong traditions of the local indigenous community, while also helping restore the children’s spirits after a recent fire in the village. Beyond studying, the facility is used for play, interaction and building self-confidence. PNM Director of Operations and Institutional Relations Lalu Dodot Patria Ary said the space is expected to provide a comfortable place for children to recognize their potential and dare to dream. Yayasan Chili Community House is also involved in the program, while Desa Sade RT head Amaq Epa said the space matters for children’s education and psychosocial recovery.
