PLN launches token and bill payment service at 4 KDKMP in West Java

Village residents can now pay electricity bills through cooperatives, while KDKMP gain a new source of revenue.

PT PLN (Persero) has launched electricity transaction services at four Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP) in Bandung and Bandung Barat regencies, West Java, during a review by Deputy Home Affairs Minister Bima Arya Sugiarto on Thursday (15/10/2026). The four cooperatives are KDKMP Citaman Nagreg, Bojongloa Rancaekek, Cangkuang Wetan Dayeuhkolot, and Padalarang. Under the Payment Point Online Bank scheme, residents can pay bills and buy electricity tokens closer to home. PLN Retail and Commerce Director M. Fahrur Rozy said the model provides an alternative for residents who are not yet accustomed to digital channels, while also opening business opportunities for cooperatives. Cangkuang Wetan village head Asep Kusmiadi said the added service makes daily needs easier to access and strengthens the role of cooperatives in the village.
