PKB pushes revision of 108 laws for economic sovereignty
New: PKB adds forestry, mineral and coal, state finance, and agrarian laws to the list it wants rewritten.
PKB Chairman Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar pushed revisions to about 108 laws to pursue economic sovereignty during PKB's 28th anniversary celebration in Jakarta on Thursday, 23 July 2026, which was also attended by President Prabowo Subianto. Muhaimin said the regulatory changes are needed so the new economic direction promoted by Prabowo can be carried further. PKB also backed a one-stop export policy for natural resources as an initial step. Among the rules it said need to be amended are the Forestry Law, the Mineral and Coal Mining Law, the State Finance Law, and the Basic Agrarian Law. At the event, PKB described its economic theme as "Prabowonomics."
