PGN reaches 1,300 students in 10 cities through 61 volunteers
The program ran from September 16 to October 26 and also provided learning tools, school supplies and mobility aids for disabled students.
PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk reached more than 1,300 students and educators through the Energi Mengajar Negeri 2026 program at 10 locations across Indonesia. The program, held from September 16 to October 26, involved 61 employee volunteers and began in Kabupaten Bangka before closing in Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur. The activities targeted elementary school students, especially around PGN's operating areas, with interactive learning sessions designed to build confidence, support motivation to learn and develop children's potential. Locations included Pangkalpinang, Cirebon, Karawang, Pasuruan, Pagar Dewa in Lampung, Kendal, Cilegon and Banyuwangi; Karawang was the only city with two schools. In addition to the learning activities, PGN distributed learning facilities, extracurricular and sports equipment, school supplies and mobility aids for students with disabilities.
