Pertamina Patra Niaga strengthens 2 CSR programs in West Java
The Cikampek and West Bandung programs are said to lift residents’ income while supporting SDG targets.
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is strengthening two social responsibility programs in West Java, Ngabedahkeun Walahar in Cikampek and Lentera Jiwa in Bandung Barat Regency. In early July, the board of commissioners and directors inspected the programs’ progress directly with local organizers, village governments, communities and MSMEs. Independent Commissioner Siti Zahra Aghnia said the Walahar program shows how waste can be processed into benefits for residents. Enjang Ramdani, a resident involved in the program, said community income has increased since it began. The company said Ngabedahkeun Walahar is linked to SDG 6, 7, 8 and 12, while Lentera Jiwa supports SDG 3 and 10.
