Pertamina holds 2026 HSSE Jambore in Palembang to boost operations
The event is being used to align safety standards, worker skills, and operational readiness across all business lines.
PT Pertamina (Persero) held the HSSE Jambore I 2026 at the HSE Training Center in Sungai Gerong, Palembang, on Thursday (23/7), to strengthen the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment culture across the business group. Chief Executive Officer Simon Aloysius Mantiri said business growth, increasingly complex technology use, and operational expansion require a stronger safety foundation to maintain operational reliability and national energy resilience. He said HSSE is not merely compliance with procedures, but a system to keep operations safe, reliable, and consistent. Chief Commissioner Mochamad Iriawan added that leaders need to be present in the field, talk with workers, and be willing to stop risky work. Pertamina said the jambore is being used to strengthen competencies, align HSSE standards, and ensure operational readiness across all business lines.
