Pertamina board head checks fuel and avtur distribution in Kupang
The inspection covered SPBU Oesapa, AFT El Tari and Terminal Tenau, an NTT fuel and LPG supply hub since 1968.
PT Pertamina (Persero) President Commissioner Mochamad Iriawan inspected energy distribution facilities in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, on Friday, June 12, 2026, to check the reliability of fuel supply and the smoothness of distribution. The sites visited included SPBU Timor Raya Oesapa, Aviation Fuel Terminal El Tari and Integrated Terminal Tenau.
At SPBU Oesapa, he reviewed service readiness and spoke with residents about fuel availability. The visit then continued to AFT El Tari to examine avtur supplies supporting flights in East Nusa Tenggara. The agenda ended with a management walkthrough at Terminal Tenau, the area's center for receiving, storing and distributing energy, including tank storage facilities and fuel and LPG loading and unloading docks. Iriawan also called for potential supply disruptions to be anticipated earlier and for workplace safety standards to be maintained.
