Pertamina becomes first pilot for tax data integration with DJP

The scheme uses a Tax Control Framework to detect tax risks earlier, reduce compliance costs and limit disputes.

PT Pertamina (Persero) has become the first taxpayer in Indonesia to run a tax data integration pilot with Direktorat Jenderal Pajak under the Co-operative Compliance program. The scheme includes the use of a Tax Control Framework to strengthen oversight and tax compliance. The pilot kicked off in Jakarta on Monday, July 13. Pertamina Finance Director Mega Satria said the move is part of efforts to strengthen group governance. Direktorat Jenderal Pajak Director General Bimo Wijayanto said data integration and the TCF help identify tax risks earlier, provide legal certainty, reduce compliance costs and cut disputes. Pertamina said its contribution to the state over the past three years reached Rp1.188 trillion through taxes, dividends, PNBP and other fiscal obligations. The pilot follows a data integration understanding signed in 2019 and system harmonization with Coretax.
