Pertamina-backed MSMEs feature at IFW 2026, promoting inclusive products

Narita Shibori works with children with special needs, while Dara Baro turns heritage textile waste into upcycled fashion.

Pertamina Patra Niaga-backed MSMEs appeared at Indonesia Fashion Week 2026 in Jakarta, highlighting fashion products that combine social value and sustainability. At the company booth, Narita Shibori displayed clothing made with children with special needs from Rumah Hasanah Bandung and SLB Negeri 4 Jakarta. Dara Baro from Aceh brought sustainable fashion products that use waste fabric from Nusantara textiles, such as jumputan, tenun, and batik, through the Japanese boro technique. Pertamina Patra Niaga Independent Commissioner Siti Zahra Aghnia, who visited the booth on Sunday, said the products showed the empowerment of vulnerable groups while also creating livelihoods. She also called for MSME support around the company’s operating areas to be expanded.
