Persija-Persib match set for Sept. 12 at GBK with fans
The Jakarta home match against Persib returns to the capital after last season was moved to Samarinda.
The Persija Jakarta clash with Persib Bandung in the second week of Super League 2026/27 is scheduled to be held at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 15.30 WIB, with spectators in attendance. I.League CEO Ferry Paulus said the Indonesia derby will most likely remain without away fans because the rivalry between the two sides is considered highly charged, similar to Arema against Persebaya. It will be the first Persija-Persib meeting in Jakarta since July 2019, when the two teams drew 1-1 at SUGBK. Last season, Persija's home match against Persib was not approved for Jakarta and was moved to Segiri Stadium in Samarinda, where Persib won 2-1.
