Persib signs Rafi Rasyiq to a 3-year professional deal
The academy graduate goes straight into the senior squad and will compete for a place under coach Igor Tolic.
Persib Bandung has promoted Rafi Rasyiq to the senior team and given him a three-year professional contract. The club announced the decision on Sunday as part of its regeneration of players through the development system it has built. Deputy CEO PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat Adhitia Putra Herawan said Rafi's promotion provides a path for academy players to reach the highest level when they are judged ready to compete. Rafi, an academy product of Persib, said he is ready to work hard, keep learning and follow the instructions of head coach Igor Tolic. He also said competition with senior players will help speed up his development and strengthen his mentality as a professional footballer.
