Persebaya signs Ramadhan Sananta ahead of new Liga 1 season
The national team striker arrives after one season at DPMM FC, where he scored 4 goals and added 2 assists in 27 matches.
Persebaya Surabaya have signed Indonesia national team forward Ramadhan Sananta to strengthen their attack ahead of the new top-flight season. The club introduced him in a video on social media on Wednesday, along with a message from Sananta to Bonek supporters that he was already “ijo” and would meet them at Gelora Bung Tomo. The 23-year-old, born in Daik, Lingga, Kepulauan Riau, previously played for DPMM FC in the 2025/2026 season. At the Brunei Darussalam club competing in the Malaysia Super League, he scored four goals and had two assists in 27 appearances across all competitions. Before moving abroad, Sananta played for Persikabo 1973, PSM Makassar and Persis Solo.
