Pelita Air teams up with 2 global partners to service 16 Airbus A320 engines
The three-year MTU Maintenance deal covers CFM56-5B engines, while KarbonMRO will support staffing, facilities and spare parts.
PT Pelita Air Service has teamed up with MTU Maintenance and KarbonMRO to strengthen maintenance for its Airbus A320 fleet. The agreements were signed at MRO Asia-Pacific 2026 in Singapore and cover engine maintenance as well as technical capability development. The partnership with MTU Maintenance runs for three years to service the CFM56-5B engines on 16 Pelita Air Airbus A320 aircraft. The memorandum of understanding with KarbonMRO covers human resource development, skills exchange, use of facilities and spare parts support for CFM56 engines. Pelita Air President Director Faik Fahmi said the move is aimed at maintaining fleet reliability, flight safety and on-time service.
