Pelindo Remits Rp7.81 Trillion to State as Revenue Rises 9%
By May 2026, Pelindo container traffic grew 7% to 8.21 million TEUs, led by a 10% rise in international cargo.
PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), or Pelindo, remitted Rp7.81 trillion to the state in fiscal 2025, up 5% from the previous year. The payments came from taxes, dividends, Non-Tax State Revenue, and concession fees. At its annual shareholders meeting for fiscal 2025 on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, Pelindo also booked operating revenue of Rp35.48 trillion, up 9%. During 2025, container traffic reached 19.8 million TEUs, ship traffic 1.42 billion GT, and passenger traffic 20.4 million people. The trend continued in early 2026: through May, container traffic rose 7% to 8.21 million TEUs, with international containers up 10% and domestic containers up 4%. Ship visits totaled 563 million GT and passenger traffic reached 9.45 million people.
