PDIP expects Megawati at Pancasila Day ceremony

PDIP expects its chairwoman, Megawati Soekarnoputri, to attend the commemoration ceremony for Pancasila Day on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Gedung Pancasila in Jakarta. PDIP DPP Chairman Djarot Syaiful Hidayat said the chance of attendance by the fifth president of the Republic of Indonesia remains subject to confirmation on the day of the event. At the same time, PDIP is also preparing an internal ceremony at Sekolah Partai in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta. Badan Pembina Ideologi Pancasila has invited former presidents and vice presidents to attend the central-level ceremony. President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to serve as ceremony inspector. BPIP Head Yudian Wahyudi said the ceremony will begin at 10.00 WIB and will be streamed online.
